Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with educational institutions, and expanding our client base. This role requires a deep understanding of the study abroad market and a passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Business Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive business development strategies to increase the consultancy’s market share and revenue.
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential markets, target audiences, and business partnerships to expand the consultancy’s reach.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with educational institutions, universities, and other relevant stakeholders to create new partnership opportunities.
- Client Acquisition: Actively seek out and engage with potential clients (students, parents, educational institutions) to generate leads and convert them into successful placements.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the study abroad sector.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and events that drive business growth.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on business development activities, including lead generation, sales, and partnerships, to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to represent the consultancy and build a strong professional network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the education or study abroad consultancy industry.
- Strong understanding of the study abroad market, including knowledge of popular destinations, courses, and application processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet targets and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
